SWEDEN SET TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF IMMIGRANTS

Sweden’s immigration minister Tobias Billström said that the numbers of immigrants entering into Sweden is not sustainable, hence there is a need to tighten the rule for asylum seekers and reduce the influx of people into the country.

According to the Swedish immigration Board, Sweden received around 44,000 asylum applications in 2012 which made it the third largest in European Union (EU) after France with 60.000 applications and Germany 64,000 thousand applications
