SWEDEN TO OPEN EMPLOYMENT OFFICE IN AFRICA

 .The Swedish public employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) is set to open employment office in East Africa “Addis Ababa” the capital of Ethiopia to help prepare those that have been given Swedish residence permit especially the Somalis for easy re-unification with their family in Sweden.

The purpose of the project is to win time according to Mathias Wahlsten and find suitable places in Sweden for applicants with professional and education background to work in Sweden.

According to Sweden Migration Board, (Migrationsverket) statistics in 2012, more than 111 000 were granted work and residence permit in 2012 out of which around 23,000 were Somalis with relatives in Sweden.
