Nigeria has just won gold in the ongoing handball tournament in Sweden. Rima HC from Sokoto State in Nigeria won the boys under 12 categories at Partille Cup 2013, the largest youth handball tournament in the world where over 44 countries across the world participated. Rima HC met El- Shams SC from Egypt in the final and won with land slide margin of (19-8).
2013 tournament is the 44th edition of the game that unites countries from all over the world, with over 20,000 participants and 1120 teams that participated.
In Partille Cup 2013, Nigeria is the only country from Africa that won gold. Other African countries that participated were Egypt, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
