Catching up with Jaqee at Gothenburg Cultural week| What to expect on her next album, challenges & joy

Born in Uganda, famous in Sweden but now living in Germany. With three successful albums, Jaqee is set for another surprise in her next album which will be out in 20th September. She has been nominated twice for the Swedish Grammy awards, voted for 2010 Reggae album of the year by ITunes in France, a constant guest at Swedish Television SVT. In her encounter with Skandik Afrik crew at the just concluded Gothenburg Cultural Festival in Sweden, she bares it all in an interview on her journey to music, challenges, joy and what to expect on the next album.

KJT from Uganda, best club 2013 in Gothia cup tournament| wins 2 gold trophies

Kampala Junior Team (KJT) from Uganda wins two gold trophies in the category boys 16 and 18 of Gothia Cup in Sweden. Kampala junior team came with two teams and both teams won gold which make the club the overall best club 2013 in Gothia Club tournament, the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament which took place between 15th till 20th July in Gothenburg.

There are only 8 countries from the continent of Africa that are participating in the Gothia Cup 2013 which begins on 15th to 20th July in Gothenburg, Sweden out of over 70 countries that registered for the tournament around the world. Two countries from the North Africa region (Morocco and Tunisia), one country from the West (Ghana), three countries from the East (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda) and two countries from the South (Zambia and South Africa).
