Norway takes the lead in Scandinavia, support #BringBackOurGirls with 1.6 million USD

The Norwegian government has decided to allocate 1.6 million USD (10 Million Norwegian Krone) to promote safe schooling in the Northern part of Nigeria and to help the communities affected by the abductions. The Norwegian Minister of Foreign affairs, Mr Børge Brende said Norway will also consider providing humanitarian assistance for the refugees and internally displayed people in the area.

Finland and Sweden lend their support to Bring Back Our Girls

Scandinavia countries rose in support of the over 200 girls kidnapped from Chibok Government Secondary School in Nigeria by Boko Haram terrorist group There were arranged protests across Sweden starting from Malmö, Stockholm and finally Gothenburg. In Finland, the Association of Nigeria community in Finland organized a similar protest in Helsinki to show their support and denounce the activities of the Boko Haram terrorist group in Nigeria Here are some pictures at the different locations in Scandinavia.

J Martin set the pace with successful concerts in Sweden, Denmark and Norway making him the only current popular artist among the Nigerian Urban high life and Afropop that has been able to connect and entertain his fans in Scandinavia. He performed in Stockholm on 29th March then proceeded to Copenhagen in partnership with Shelby production and performed at Café le Rouge on 4th April and ended the tour in Norway on 6th April.
